Rudolph's gallery' - an instructive profile in the Ordovician of the Barrandian area
Journal of the Czech Geological Society, volume 39 (1994), issue 2-3, 245 - 249
Rudolph's gallery in Prague, representing the exceptional historical and technical monument from the 16th century, is also the important and relatively complete profile of the Letná Formation (Ordovician, Berounian Stage, Barrandian area). It is situated near the stratotype of the formation and it very probably exposes its insufficiently known base. At present-day state, the gallery enables a relatively detailed and easy geological research. It would be useful to protect the gallery as a significant geological object.
